Specification
- What it is
- Posts, clips, connectors, anchors and caps for twin-wire (2D) and 3D welded mesh panel systems.
- H-profile post
- 70 × 44 mm, 1.25 mm wall, pre-drilled for clips, bolts and panel retaining hooks. Yield not less than 250 MPa.
- Post finish
- Hot-dip galvanised both sides plus powder coat, minimum 60 microns. RAL 6005 green, RAL 7016 anthracite, RAL 7035 grey.
- Security clip
- Stainless steel anti-theft bolt with a break-off head — the head shears at torque, so the clip cannot be undone with a spanner.
- Anchor
- 4 bolts per base plate. Expansion or chemical anchor to suit the footing.
- Post cap
- Protective cap with an integrated hook that supports the panel while it is being fixed. A plain plug cap does not do this.
- Standards
- BS EN 10223-4 · BS EN 10223-7 for the panels
- Note on yield
- 250 MPa rules out Q235 and S235JR, which are both 235. S250GD, S280GD and S350GD all pass. Confirm against the mill certificate rather than the catalogue.
