Equal and unequal leg, roll-formed from galvanized coil · send leg dimensions, thickness and length. Roll-formed galvanized steel channel and profile sections — the structural frame behind hoarding, cladding and drywall. C-channel studs from 48 to 150 mm and matching U-channel track, both 3 m standard, in 0.35–0.90 mm. Z-purlins 142 to 302 mm deep in 1.5–3.0 mm, cut to length up to 12 m. Order the track to match the stud: the width is the same number on both. Track is stocked in 50, 70, 89, 92, 100 and 150 mm, so ask before specifying a 48, 64 or 123 mm stud.

- Cold roll-formed galvanized steel sections, bent from coil to a fixed cross-section (C, U, Z or angle), used as the frame that panels, cladding or drywall board get fixed to.
- Who buys it
- Hoarding and cladding contractors framing behind sandwich panel or GI sheet, drywall/partition contractors, and fabricators building light steel frames.
- Made of
- Galvanized steel coil, roll-formed to section then cut to length - the zinc coating (galvanizing) is what lets it sit outdoors without painting.
- Common sections
- C-channel and U-channel for framing and track, Z-purlin for roof/wall girts spanning between main steel, angle section for bracing and trims.
- Installation
- Bolted or screw-fixed to the primary steel structure at the spacing the panel or cladding manufacturer specifies - purlin spacing is set by the wind load and panel span, not a fixed number.
- Delivery
- All 7 Emirates from our own yard. Sharjah and the northern emirates are usually same day on stocked lines; the rest of the country is one to three working days. The delivery charge depends on the emirate, the load and the offloading, and is confirmed in writing on the quotation rather than guessed at here.
- Ordering
- Cut to length on request. Priced per length or per project quantity against a bill of materials, excluding 5% VAT.
