Specification
- What it is
- Heavy-duty LDPE sheeting, either heat-shrunk drum-tight around a scaffold or fixed as reinforced eyeletted panels (Monarflex-style), forming a continuous, largely sealed skin.
- Vs debris netting
- Debris netting is a permeable mesh sized to catch a falling object while letting wind and light through. Shrink wrap and encapsulation sheeting are solid — full dust, weather and sandstorm enclosure for facade work, sandblasting or painting where nothing should escape the scaffold.
- Two systems
- Shrink wrap is heat-welded into one continuous skin with no gaps. Traditional eyeletted sheeting is tied panel by panel, which is faster to strike and re-use but leaves the tie points as potential gaps.
- Delivery
- All 7 Emirates from our own yard. Sharjah and the northern emirates are usually same day on stocked lines; the rest of the country is one to three working days. The delivery charge depends on the emirate, the load and the offloading, and is confirmed in writing on the quotation rather than guessed at here.
- Installation service
- Supply only, or supplied and installed by our own crew rather than a subcontractor. Installation is quoted with the goods once we have the site conditions and the access, and is shown as its own line on the quotation.
- Ordering
- Priced against your scaffold dimensions and whichever system the job needs, excluding 5% VAT.
