- What it is
- A temporary scaffold or structural tunnel — boarded sides, a debris-rated roof, guardrails and usually its own lighting — that carries pedestrians past or under a work area rather than diverting them into the road.
- Who buys it
- Sites on a public footpath, a busy frontage, or anywhere the works genuinely block the only pedestrian route past the plot.
- Construction
- Scaffold tube or steel frame, boarded or sheeted sides, a debris-netted or sheeted roof rated to catch falling material, handrails both sides.
- Vs plain hoarding
- Plain hoarding encloses the site; a covered walkway is for the public route that has nowhere else to go — the two are usually specified together, not instead of each other.
- Delivery
- All 7 Emirates from our own yard. Sharjah and the northern emirates are usually same day on stocked lines; the rest of the country is one to three working days. The delivery charge depends on the emirate, the load and the offloading, and is confirmed in writing on the quotation rather than guessed at here.

- Supply only, or supplied and installed by our own crew rather than a subcontractor. Installation is quoted with the goods once we have the site conditions and the access, and is shown as its own line on the quotation.
