Toe-board clip
Holds the toe board against the standard · required wherever there is a working platform. Drop-forged fittings to EN 74-1 Class B. Drop-forged means the body is hammered from solid bar, not folded from sheet — a pressed coupler looks the same on a photograph, weighs half as much and is rejected on every serious site.

- What it is
- The fittings that join one tube to another, to a beam, or to a board. The coupler is what makes tube-and-fitting scaffold adaptable to any shape a building happens to be.

- EN 74-1:2005 Class B · BS 1139-2.2
- Load
- EN 74 prototype test minima, not working loads. Right-angle Class B: 15 kN slip, 30 kN ultimate (Class A: 10 and 20). Swivel, which has no classes: 8.5 kN slip, 17 kN ultimate. Friction sleeve Class B: 6 kN at 2 mm slip, 19 kN in bending. Beam clamp not less than 30 kN, which is the manufacturer's rating rather than an EN 74 figure. TG20 designs to roughly the test figure divided by 1.65.

- Drop-forged Q235 / S235 body, grade 8.8 T-bolt and nut, heat treated
- Weight
- A genuine drop-forged right-angle coupler is about 1.55 kg. Anything much lighter is pressed, whatever the label says.

- Hot-dip galvanised · electro-galvanised on request
