- What it is
- A small gatehouse with glazing on several sides, so the guard can see the approach, the gate and the barrier without leaving the seat.
- Who buys it
- Compounds, gated communities, industrial estates, car parks, and any entrance that is manned.
- Made of
- A steel frame and chassis, sandwich panel or GRP body, large aluminium windows with a sliding service hatch, a personnel door, and electrics for lighting and a small air conditioner.
- Panel core
- Confirmed per unit on request. The UAE Fire & Life Safety Code restricts combustible cores, so ask before you order — especially for accommodation and anywhere with an ignition source. Standard PUF is combustible; a rock wool core is the choice where a fire rating matters.
- How it works
- Sightlines are what make a guard cabin work. Glazing on the approach side and the gate side matters more than floor area - a bigger box with worse sightlines is a worse cabin.
- Where it is the wrong choice
- A guard cabin is not a security barrier. It houses the person; the control comes from the gate, the boom or the turnstile beside it. If the requirement is to stop a vehicle, that is a bollard or a road blocker, not a cabin. And it needs power and shade - an un-air-conditioned glass box in a UAE summer will not be occupied.

- Delivery
- All 7 Emirates from our own yard. Sharjah and the northern emirates are usually same day on stocked lines; the rest of the country is one to three working days. The delivery charge depends on the emirate, the load and the offloading, and is confirmed in writing on the quotation rather than guessed at here.
- Installation
- Supply only, or supplied and installed by our own crew rather than a subcontractor. Installation is quoted with the goods once we have the site conditions and the access, and is shown as its own line on the quotation.
