How you know it is this
- Smearing across the rear screen
- A split or hardened rubber edge
- A blade that has fallen off
Worth knowing before you buy
- Saloons and coupés do not have one.
- Different fitting from the front and usually a different length again.
- The rear blade sits in direct sun on a near-horizontal screen and degrades faster than the fronts.
- The rear arm and its cap are separate cheap parts, and the cap is frequently the thing that has gone.
What we need to quote it. The chassis number. The chassis number settles the generation, the body and usually the engine in seventeen characters — it is on your mulkiya. A photograph of the old part helps where there is more than one version.
Rest of the belts, wipers and fluids
- Accessory (serpentine) belt
- Belt tensioner and idlers
- Wiper blades — front pair
- Screenwash and additives
- Engine oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid, coolant
- AdBlue
