What it is
Structural and general-purpose bonding: two-part epoxies, cyanoacrylate superglue, contact and spray adhesives, and purpose-made repair kits.
Who buys it
Workshops and facilities maintenance repairing metal, plastic and trim rather than replacing it, and fit-out and joinery trades for the Fevicol lines.

Two-part epoxy resin and hardener, cyanoacrylate, or a solvent-borne contact adhesive, depending on the product.
How it works
An epoxy cures by reaction between resin and hardener, so it sets whether or not air can reach it and it fills a gap — the working time in the name (4 minute, 5 minute) is how long you have after mixing, not how long until full strength, which is usually hours. Superglue needs a close-fitting joint and trace moisture, and gives almost no gap fill.
Where it is the wrong choice
Surface preparation decides the result far more than the grade of adhesive: an epoxy on a greasy or unabraded surface fails at the bond line, not in the glue. Nothing here is a substitute for a weld on a structural or load-bearing part, and a plastic welder epoxy bonds plastic — it does not weld it.
