Readers are priced per door — facial recognition, fingerprint and card, or card only — and the lock set is chosen by the door: an electric strike for a timber frame, a magnetic lock sized to the leaf for anything heavier. Standalone units suit one or two doors; past that a networked system puts users, schedules and the audit trail on one platform.
