How many kerbs for your edge?

Enter the length of the edging and get the number of kerbs.

You need

  • Kerbs, 915 mm long68 kerbs
  • Length including the cutting allowance61.8 m

How that was worked out

  • 60 m + 3% = 61.8 m
  • 61.8 m ÷ 0.915 m per kerb = 67.5 → 68 kerbs

What it is

Precast concrete kerbs for road edges, islands and car parks — and the edge restraint a paved area needs to stay flat. Standard units are 915 mm long in 100 and 150 mm widths and 600 mm long in 200 mm, all 305 mm high, in half-battered, flush and bullnose profiles; heel kerbs are 600 mm. Interlock without an edge restraint creeps and opens up at the perimeter, which is what the kerb is there to stop. Other heights and profiles are made to order — send the detail.

Laying
Bedded and haunched in concrete before the pavers go down against it
Delivery
All 7 Emirates from our own yard. Sharjah and the northern emirates are usually same day on stocked lines; the rest of the country is one to three working days. The delivery charge depends on the emirate, the load and the offloading, and is confirmed in writing on the quotation rather than guessed at here.
Installation
Supply only, or supplied and installed by our own crew rather than a subcontractor. Installation is quoted with the goods once we have the site conditions and the access, and is shown as its own line on the quotation.
